Essential criteria
- NMC level one registration
- OH Nurse – Specialist Practitioner Qualification/Degree in Occupational Health/relevant experience in the field
- Evidence of continuous personal & professional development
- Complex case management in Occupational Health
- Up to date knowledge of DOH/HSE legislation and recommendations
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Essential criteria
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, IT)
- Able to prioritise workload, achieving a balance between clinical work and other aspects of the post
- Able to work autonomously and as a member of the team
- Adept at critical thinking and decision making
- Able to carry out a wide range of practical skills and interpret results including, health surveillance, venepuncture, immunisations, spirometry, audiometry
- Management of sharps injury and providing infection control advice in line with Trust policy and procedures
- Ability to supervise junior nursing staff and admin staff
Desirable criteria
- Able to produce Occupational Health policies and procedures
- Experience in audit and research projects
- Good presentation skills
Knowledge, Training & Experience

- Experience in the recruitment and selection process
