Registered Manager – Children's Home
Location: Great Harwood, Lancashire
Salary: Up to £65,000 (DOE) + annual bonus
Contract: Permanent, full-time
We are working in partnership with a progressive and well-established children’s residential provider to recruit an experienced Registered Manager for their home in Great Harwood. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a settled, established service within a supportive organisation where all homes are rated Good or above by Ofsted. The home supports young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and learning disabilities, offering a varied and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day‑to‑day management and operations of the home
- Ensure high‑quality, person‑centred care tailored to each young person’s needs
- Oversee care planning, reviews, and outcomes for young people
- Allocate and support Key Workers to deliver effective care plans
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, local authorities, and external professionals
- Manage budgets and ensure efficient, cost‑effective service delivery
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels and ensure team competency
- Lead recruitment, induction, and ongoing staff development
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
- Provide strong leadership, supervision, and support to the staff team
