A successful PR & External Affairs Lead should have:
- Previous experience in public relations, communications, or external affairs.
- Exposure to working in sectors involving local authorities and combined authorities is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of media relations and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
