Responsibilities
- Carry out corrective maintenance, part replacement and adjustments to maintain precision and repeatability.
- Monitor machine performance, patterns and breakdown trends to minimise downtime.
- Support with process projects, machine upgrades and tooling improvements.
- Work closely with production to identify root causes of recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs and track spare parts.
- Manage contractors on site and ensure that RAM’s are in place.
- Carry out weekly fire alarm checks.
Desired Experience
- Experience of working within a precision engineering, machining or similar manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CNC machinery.
- Experience in TPM, lean manufacturing or continuous improvement activities.
Benefits
A standard day shift pattern with an early finish on Fridays (2:30pm). A starting salary of £40,000+ DOE, 5% company pension, healthcare plan and additional company benefits.
