Installation Engineer – Gas Detection Systems
South East / London Travel.
£30,000 – £36,000 basic salary + company van + benefits.
The Opportunity
We are a growing engineering business specialising in gas detection and environmental monitoring systems across commercial and industrial environments. Following recent investment and growth, we are looking to bring in an Installation Engineer to support projects across London and the South.
The Role
You will be responsible for installing fixed gas detection systems across a range of sites including laboratories, universities, infrastructure and commercial environments. Most work is in the South East, with some UK travel and occasional overnight stays fully covered.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing gas detection systems on site
- Running containment including conduit, tray and trunking
- Cable pulling, termination and system setup
- Working across commercial and industrial environments
- Completing job sheets, timesheets and basic admin
- Maintaining high standards of safety and quality
What We're Looking For
- Experience in electrical or installation engineering
- Background in cabling, containment or site-based installs
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Comfortable travelling and staying away when required
- Good communication and organisation
- Full UK driving licence
