Machine Preparation Centre Engineer
Location: Immingham
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are currently looking for a Machine Preparation Centre Engineer to join our team in Immingham. This is a hands‑on role focused on preparing, inspecting, and ensuring machinery is ready for delivery to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out pre‑delivery inspections (PDI) and machine preparation
- Fit attachments and extras such as buckets, guards, couplers, radios, and cameras
- Ensure all checks are completed in line with inspection and extras documentation
- Identify and report any additional work required
- Install software updates where applicable
- Accurately complete job records and input data in real time
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional working environment
- Care for tools and equipment, reporting any defects
- Work in line with Health and Safety and COSHH regulations
- Support team members and assist with training where required
- Attend training courses to maintain and develop technical skills
- Work overtime when necessary to meet business needs
About You
- Qualified in Plant Maintenance, Agricultural Engineering, HGV Mechanics or similar (e.g. NVQ Level 2 / City and Guilds)
- Experience working with heavy plant machinery, including hydraulics and electrical systems
- Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Organised, reliable, and detail-focused
- Confident handling and operating heavy machinery
- Basic IT skills (systems, email, technical documents)
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Welding experience would be advantageous
