Maintenance Engineer
Location: Nottingham
Contract: Permanent
Shift Pattern: Full Time, standard hours Monday to Friday, with overtime available including weekend work

What you’ll be doing
As a key member of the Property team, you will report to the Engineering Facilities Management (EFM) Manager and work alongside a dedicated group of engineers. Your role will involve:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities within the D200 Energy Centre and Boots Beeston site.
- Making informed decisions to ensure the safe and efficient supply of utilities.
- Providing support and guidance to fellow team members.
- Responding promptly to abnormal or emergency situations to minimise disruptions.
- Participating in the development of standard operating procedures and safe systems of work.
What you’ll need to have
- A time-served Engineering apprenticeship.
- Significant mechanical experience.
- Understanding of industrial processes and steam systems.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety obligations in an engineering environment.
- A full valid UK driving licence.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude, whether working independently or as part of a team.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience in fault finding and repair of industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with computer systems relevant to engineering tasks.
- Flexibility to work out of hours and shifts as required.
