Role Overview

We are actively recruiting a Commercial Gas Engineer to carry out servicing and breakdown works to commercial gas equipment within commercial environments across the West Midlands region.

As a Commercial Gas Engineer you will work on commercial boilers, catering gas equipment, warm air heaters, gas fired cabinet heaters and associated commercial gas appliances. Environments include retail stores, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, gyms and similar.

Employment Package / Summary

  • Role: Commercial Gas Engineer
  • Status: Permanent, PAYE
  • Paid Weekly
  • Base Salary: £48,500
  • Estimated annual earnings: Up to £65,000
  • Provided: Van, fuel card, uniform, phone, specialist tools, 28 days paid annual leave
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00am – 5:30pm (inclusive of travel time). Site hours estimated 08:00am–4:30pm.
  • Travel time: Paid door to door minus 30 minutes each way.
  • Overtime: x1.5 rate until midnight, x2 rate overnight
  • Call out rota: 1 in 6 weeks. Standby allowance + paid per call out.
  • Location(s): West Midlands and surrounding areas, furthest points including Wrexham and Gloucester
  • Works: Servicing, breakdowns and repairs
  • Industry: Building Services

Requirements

  • Must hold relevant Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, CAUR1 or similar).
  • Must hold experience working independently as a Commercial Gas Engineer within commercial environments.
  • Must hold a UK driving licence with 9 points or under.
