Technology Project Manager – Finance Transformation
Woking & Hammersmith, UK – Hybrid Working Model
In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering key Finance Transformation initiatives, leading the technical delivery of multiple, complex technology projects. You will work closely with finance, technology, and third‑party partners to ensure successful execution across innovation, optimisation, and value‑creation programmes.
This is a hands‑on delivery role where your leadership, governance, and stakeholder management skills will directly impact the successful implementation of enterprise finance systems across Nomad Foods.
About the Role
Project & Technical Delivery Leadership
- Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of multiple mediums to large‑scale technology initiatives from initiation through to closure.
- Own and manage the Technology Project Plan, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed scope, milestones, budget, and quality expectations.
- Lead technical solutions delivered via third‑party vendors and outsourced partners, managing dependencies and delivery risks.
- Ensure all technology deliverables adhere to internal standards, principles, and governance frameworks.
Finance Systems & Transformation Projects
- Lead the delivery of key finance initiatives including:
- BlackLine implementation for ECC, including trading partners, intercompany matching and account reconciliation for ECC and S/4
- Implementation of a Cash Forecasting Tool
- Plan and manage cutover and go‑live readiness activities, ensuring alignment with business and support teams.
- Manage Technology Governance processes and produce regular progress and status reporting.
- Own and actively manage the Technology RAID log, escalating risks and issues with clear mitigation strategies.
- Produce cost estimates and manage delivery against agreed Capex and Opex budgets.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate cross‑functional contributors including Business Analysts, Infrastructure, Solution Design, and Service Delivery teams.
- Engage with senior technology and programme leadership, providing clear visibility of progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and delivery forums to drive outcomes and decision‑making.
About You
We’re looking for a Technology Project Manager with a strong background in enterprise technology delivery, ideally within finance transformation environments. You will be confident operating in complex, matrixed organisations and managing multiple stakeholders and vendors simultaneously.
Skills & Experience
- Strong background in finance systems delivery, ideally within SAP ECC environments.
- Experience managing third‑party vendors, system integrators, and outsourced partners.
- Strong understanding of technology governance, risk management, and delivery controls.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, RAID logs, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with VIM, Blackline, or cash forecasting / cash management tools is highly desirable.
