Overview

Kier is seeking an Electrical Package Engineer to join the Hogsmill Surrey team. Location: Hogsmill Surrey — some remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required. Hours: 45 hours per week — some flexibility on hours is available. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. The Electrical Package Engineer will provide electrical engineering expertise for industrial projects, with a focus on water recycling facilities.

Responsibilities

• Establishing client requirements and delivering effective electrical engineering solutions
• Engaging with suppliers and supporting the contractor delivery and commissioning process
• Providing expertise for electrical distribution systems, motor control centres, and hazardous area designs
• Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are successfully achieved
• Applying technical judgment during construction phases while ensuring health & safety standards

Qualifications

• You hold at least an HND qualification in electrical engineering
• You have experience in electrical design on capital projects
• You possess knowledge of motor control centres and electrical distribution systems
• You can work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• You have strong interpersonal skills with a focus on quality and problem-solving
