Specialized in civil engineering and engineering structures, Bouygues Travaux Publics is one of the world leaders in the fields of land use planning and sustainable infrastructure construction. Bouygues Travaux Publics is committed to diversity and is open to all talents. We are looking for an Environmental Advisor to join BMJV on the Lower Thames Crossing – Tunnels and Approaches Project, one of the UK’s most high-profile and transformative infrastructure programmes. Lower Thames Crossing (LTC) is a new road that will connect Kent and Essex through a tunnel beneath the River Thames and will be the greenest road ever built in the UK - creating six times more green space than road. The reliable new route will almost double road capacity over the river east of London to reduce congestion and give millions of people more choice on where they live, work and spend their valuable time. The programme team on LTC is diverse and inclusive. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in protecting the environment while supporting the delivery of a nationally significant project. The successful candidate will work within the Environment Team, ensuring construction activities are carried out in compliance with environmental legislation, project consents, permits, and client requirements. The role will also support the implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS), helping to drive best practice across waste management, biodiversity protection, pollution prevention, and sustainable construction delivery.
