Nancy’s Cocktail Bar
London Bridge, London
Nancy's will be London Bridge's newest premium cocktail destination. Landmark views, a late license, serious drinks and a space designed to bring a little 70s spirit back to London nightlife. Opening mid‑May, we're looking for quality hospitality professionals who can help us elevate the guest experience and deliver the tailored service we want to achieve.
The Role
We are looking for someone with a confident and vibrant personality, with a passion for curating our guest experience. From organising bookings to communicating guest preferences to colleagues, yours will be the role that keeps guests’ experience tailored to their needs. As well as being involved with service, you will be responsible for giving confidence, guidance, and training to a small team of hosts. They will look to you for direction in maximising the space, communicating with guests, and, where appropriate, helping to sell our private booking spaces. For a proactive and collaborative candidate, this role will include a bonus structure based on private hire bookings, paid as a percentage of minimum spends. Working together with the floor and general managers, you will help us build a structure that uses our private room or rooms effectively, while delivering an extra personalised service to our guests.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the host team and help shape the guest arrival experience from day one
- Organise bookings and communicate guest preferences clearly across the wider team
- Welcome and seat guests warmly and professionally
- Support and train a small team of hosts, building confidence and consistency
- Help maximise the use of venue space and manage bookings effectively
- Work with the floor and general managers on private hire opportunities and guest experience
- Where appropriate, help drive sales of private booking spaces
- Ensure communication between hosts, floor, and bar teams is smooth, accurate, and guest‑focused
What we’re looking for
- A confident and vibrant personality
- A passion for hospitality and a tailored guest experience
- Experience in hosting, reservations, or guest‑facing coordination within hospitality
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- The ability to train, guide, and motivate a small team
- A proactive and collaborative approach
- Commercial awareness and confidence around private hire opportunities
- Availability to join in May for pre‑opening training and launch
