ROLE

Branch Supervisor

HOURS

44 per week – Permanent role, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on a Saturday rota.

SALARY

£29,918 basic salary per year.

BONUS / OTE

Realistic total earning potential of up to £34,718 per year.

WHAT OUR BRANCH SUPERVISORS DO

  • Work closely with the Branch Manager and Trade Counter colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and operational standards.
  • Lead by example to meet branch sales targets and improve market share.
  • Support day‑to‑day branch operations.
  • Assist with the delivery of branch operations.
  • Provide support and assistance to branch colleagues as required.
  • Ensure the branch team completes actions and activities on time and in full.
  • Ensure branch compliance with health and safety, company policies and procedures.
  • Undertake stocktakes and audits.
  • Maintain maintenance records for branch vehicles.
  • Conduct branch housekeeping for front of house, warehousing, and merchanting.

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR BRANCH SUPERVISORS

  • Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets.
  • A hands‑on, customer‑focused approach; confident and happy to serve customers and proactively engage with potential future customers.
  • A commercial approach to drive sales and maximise margins while ensuring customers leave satisfied.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and use own initiative.
  • Confident IT user, experienced with MS Office and industry standard software (e.g., SAP).
  • A full and valid driving licence; a FLT licence is an advantage.
  • The ability to cover for the Branch Manager when required.
  • Previous branch stock‑take experience is an advantage.
  • Comfortable working in a small team and, on occasion, alone.
  • Experience in a similar role ideally in a trade, builders merchant, retail, glazing or uPVC environment is an advantage.
