Branch Supervisor
HOURS
44 per week – Permanent role, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on a Saturday rota.
SALARY
£29,918 basic salary per year.
BONUS / OTE
Realistic total earning potential of up to £34,718 per year.

WHAT OUR BRANCH SUPERVISORS DO
- Work closely with the Branch Manager and Trade Counter colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and operational standards.
- Lead by example to meet branch sales targets and improve market share.
- Support day‑to‑day branch operations.
- Assist with the delivery of branch operations.
- Provide support and assistance to branch colleagues as required.
- Ensure the branch team completes actions and activities on time and in full.
- Ensure branch compliance with health and safety, company policies and procedures.
- Undertake stocktakes and audits.
- Maintain maintenance records for branch vehicles.
- Conduct branch housekeeping for front of house, warehousing, and merchanting.
WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR BRANCH SUPERVISORS
- Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets.
- A hands‑on, customer‑focused approach; confident and happy to serve customers and proactively engage with potential future customers.
- A commercial approach to drive sales and maximise margins while ensuring customers leave satisfied.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and use own initiative.
- Confident IT user, experienced with MS Office and industry standard software (e.g., SAP).
- A full and valid driving licence; a FLT licence is an advantage.
- The ability to cover for the Branch Manager when required.
- Previous branch stock‑take experience is an advantage.
- Comfortable working in a small team and, on occasion, alone.
- Experience in a similar role ideally in a trade, builders merchant, retail, glazing or uPVC environment is an advantage.
