Salary Package: £50,000 – 52,000 + Bonus, Overtime and Package – £55K+OTE
Job Type: Permanent
Electrical or Mechanical bias, ideally dual-skilled
Client: Global Manufacturing, Packaging and Retail Logistics Company
Location: Derbyshire, Burton Upon Trent area, commutable from Ashbourne, Uttoxeter, Swadlincote, Castle Donington, etc.
Recruitment drive due to site automation, expansion and £MM CAPEX Investment
Contract: Rotating 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday, plus premium rates for weekend overtime

Responsibilities
- To service, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe manner.
- To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements and contribute to continuous improvement projects
- Agree and carry out planned and preventative maintenance to agreed-upon schedules.
- Share good ideas to form mini projects to improve the plant’s performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Maintenance or similar
- HND or HNC diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
- Or the equivalent of any of the above in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with a manufacturing background
- Ideally, Manufacturing industry experience, time-sensitive and complex
