Investigations Manager (Prevention and Response)

The role isresponsibleforleadingourprocesses for preventing and responding towrongdoing, and for promoting andimplementingsector best-practice. It hasresponsibilityfor the managementand oversight ofourfull caseload ofinvestigationsinto financialwrongdoing,safeguardingand other personal misconduct. It also includes provision of coaching andsupportto internalinvestigatorsand guidance to partners oninvestigationprotocols and reports.

The successful candidate will have:

• Extensive experience ofleadingabroadcaseload ofsensitiveinvestigations(e.g. fraudandsafeguarding);
• Provenabilityto plan and flexibly deliver a large workload of both long-term and urgentactivities;
• Goodawarenessof the UKlegislativeandregulatoryframework onsafeguardingand financial compliance;
• Significantexperience ofdevelopingandimplementingpolicies and protocols to strengthenorganisationalresiliencetowrongdoing, ideally in a globalor INGOcontext;
• Experience of enhancingorganisationalprocesses to prevent/deterwrongdoing;
• Excellent skills indetailedanalysiswork,communication(written and verbal), influencing, and training/mentoring across cultures and all levels of theorganisation;
• Proven wise judgement, highemotionalintelligenceand interpersonal skills.

Location: This is a global role and can be based in any country Tearfund can legally employ staff. Salary will bedependenton location.

Please note: This is a full time role but we are willing toconsiderpart-time working at a minumum of 28 hours per week.
