Your new company

Desian Education are proud to be supporting an Ellesmere Port-based single-form entry primary school that is Ofsted rated “Good” in all area’s as they require an experienced and qualified teaching assistant to join the EYFS team.

This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join a highly-regarded schools experience EYFS team on a full-time temporary basis. This school are considering a permanent appointment for the new academic year for the right individual.

Your new role

You will be joining an experienced and supportive EYFS cohort, working in collaboration with the pre-school and reception class teachers to support the delivering of stimulating and engaging lessons. You will offer tailor 1:1 and small group support across both classes, ensuring that each pupil reaches their individual developmental and attainment milestones. You will independently plan and delivering target interventions in areas such as phonics, numeracy and literacy. xwzovoh You will also support with OPAL and forest school activities.

What you need to succeed

  • Full “Right to Work” in the UK
  • Expert knowledge of the EYFS national curriculum
  • Be at least NVQ Level 2 Early Years Educator or equivalent qualified
  • A minimum of 40 days referenceable classroom experience within the last 2 years
  • An Enhanced Children’s DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to obtain
