Insolvency Administrator

My client is a reputable and leading Insolvency Practice based in Lisburn, who are currently seeking an Insolvency Administrator to join their team. Also considering candidates that have recently completed their A-Levels/Degree and looking to kick start their career. Full training provided.

This is a Full-time permanent position.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday: 9am-5pm (can be flexible)

Salary: entry level minimum wage

Job Purpose:

As Insolvency Administrator, you will be reporting to the Insolvency Manager and being fully responsible for supporting the daily functions of the department.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous Administrator experience
  • Or a Law Degree
  • GCSEs at grade C (or equivalent) or above in Maths and English
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload and schedule
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative
  • Attention to detail with good numeracy
  • Communicating effectively with Creditors, Debtors and stakeholders

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data processing, reviewing financial information and producing first drafts of reports
  • Assisting the manager and/or partner in preparing for meetings
  • Drafting Statements of Affairs, Chairman's Reports and Annual Reports
  • Arranging interviews with Consumers & Bankrupts
  • Taking notes and meeting minutes
  • Procedural matters such as filing, reporting, document preparation and statutory compliance
  • Basic investigations into insolvent estates
  • Management of case queries
  • Daily accurate recording and entry of your time on to the time management system
  • Land registry searches and registering property restrictions
  • Liaising with creditors
  • Data input and excel reports
  • Monitoring and allocating and actioning post and electronic communications received
  • Any other duties as required
