Job Title: Senior Residential Care Worker Job Type: Full-Time Shift and schedule: Shift pattern:160 hours per month (average 40 hours per week) Rota basis: 2 days on + sleep-in, followed by 4 days off Priority Recruitment are excited to present this long-term Senior Residential Care Worker opportunity in Wiltshire. Supporting children and young people in a residential care setting Leading shifts and supporting the staff team Leading shifts and supporting team members to deliver high-quality care Supervising staff and supporting performance and development Ensuring safeguarding and child protection standards are upheld at all times Supporting children with daily routines, activities, and emotional wellbeing Acting as a positive role model for both young people and staff Contributing to care planning and attending reviews/meetings Ensuring health & safety procedures and risk assessments are followed Promoting a healthy lifestyle for children and young people Previous experience working in childrens residential care (essential) Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection Ability to lead shifts and support a team effectively Flexible to work shifts, including sleep-ins and weekends Commitment to continuous professional development Some of our roles require drivers and male or female employees only….
