Assistant Quantity Surveyor A leading main contractor delivering high-quality commercial, retail, hospitality, and fit-out projects across London and the Home Counties. The business is known for working with prestigious clients and delivering new build, structural refurbishment, and high-spec fit-out schemes, often within complex, live environments. With a strong reputation for quality, collaboration, and problem-solving, they take an active role from early design stages through to project delivery. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with 2–5 years’ experience, ideally with a background in commercial and retail fit-out projects. You will support the commercial team across the full project lifecycle, gaining exposure to high-profile schemes in Central London. Support procurement of subcontractors and suppliers Assist with valuations, variations, and final accounts Monitor project costs and contribute to financial reporting Work closely with site teams to ensure cost control and commercial efficiency 2–5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role Previous experience working on commercial / retail fit-out or refurbishment projects Degree qualified (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management xkybehq Good understanding of construction processes and contracts (JCT) Ambition to progress within a leading main contractor  Exposure to high-end, design-led projects across London Structured career progression and mentorship Opportunity to work with well-known clients and brands …
