Supported by a team of over 130 full-time staff and over 200 volunteers, the independently governed and independently financed charity offers an extensive array of more than 60 programmes and initiatives that tackle a diverse range of social issues including health, employability, anti-social behaviour, crime, exploitation, education, dementia, and disability.

About the opportunity: 

Everton in the Community delivers early intervention programmes that support young people at risk of underachieving, disengaging from education, or becoming involved in crime or antisocial behaviour. 

As part of our continued expansion across the Liverpool City Region, we are recruiting a Pathways Coordinator to coordinate and deliver targeted sector-based programmes within partner schools and across our wider Children and Youth programmes. The role will support young people to raise their aspirations, develop employability skills and progress into education, employment or training. 

The Pathways Coordinator will contribute to Everton in the Community’s Impact Model and Everton Learns Strategy, which aim to engage, inspire and support young people to achieve their potential.

Who we are looking for: 

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated and has the ability to motivate and inspire young people to learn, achieve and aspire. 

Experienced in delivering classroom-based sessions to 13– 16-year-olds our ideal candidate will also demonstrate the below skills and experience:  

This position will be offered on Fixed Term Contract, with the role being based across our Everton in the Community campus.
