Criminal Solicitor

The Role

We are looking for a qualified solicitor to join our thriving Criminal Law team. Ideally we would seek to engage a qualified Criminal Solicitor with Court duty and police station accreditation; however training opportunities are available within the firm should the candidate be either a qualified Criminal Solicitor or a qualified solicitor who is looking to transfer their skills to Criminal Law. The candidate must have rights of audience within the UK.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with rights of audience
• Duty Solicitor Qualification (optional)
• Police Station Accreditation (optional)
• Ability to develop and expand a case load with good client care
• Strong skills in legal research and drafting legal documents
• Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines effectively
• Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills
• Commitment to client care, with a focus on empathy and clear communication
• Adherence to high professional and ethical standards
• Active Solicitor's Regulation Authority (SRA) registration
• Work well as part of a team
