A high-growth, forward-thinking financial services business is seeking a talented Legal Counsel (2-4 PQE) to join its dynamic in-house legal team. The Role
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will act as a trusted advisor to the business, supporting a wide range of legal and strategic matters. The role offers broad exposure across commercial law, with opportunities to get involved in regulatory, corporate, competition, and intellectual property matters.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts with suppliers and customers
- Providing pragmatic, solutions‑focused legal advice to senior stakeholders across the business
- Supporting key strategic projects, including new product development and commercial initiatives
- Advising on regulatory and compliance matters within a financial services environment
- Contributing to policy development, legal training, and knowledge sharing across the business
- Collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver commercially aligned legal support
About You
- UK-qualified solicitor with 2‑4 years’ PQE
- Strong grounding in English contract law with hands‑on drafting and negotiation experience
- Commercially astute with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives
- Confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders and explain complex issues clearly
- Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
- Interest in financial services and willingness to broaden legal expertise
