Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join a leading construction team based in the Midlands. This is a hybrid role offering a balance between office, site, and remote working, with a strong focus on both tender and live project environments.

Role Responsibilities
- Lead planning input across tender and live construction projects
- Develop, review, and manage project programmes at pre-construction stage
- Provide strategic planning support to bid teams
- Audit and review live project programmes prepared by Project Managers
- Ensure programme accuracy, logic, and compliance with project requirements
- Identify risks, delays, and opportunities within project timelines
- Support project teams with programme improvements and recovery strategies
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and site teams to maintain programme integrity
Working Arrangement
- Midlands-based office (1–2 days per week)
- 1 day per week on site
- Flexible/home working for remaining days
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Planner or Senior Planner within the construction industry
- Strong experience across both pre-construction (tender) and live project environments
- Experience working in a Main Contracting environment.
- Demonstrable experience auditing and reviewing programmes, not just producing them
- Essential: Proficiency in both Primavera P6 and Asta Powerproject
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methodologies, and project delivery
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
