Responsibilities

  • Control the linen management for a site, maximizing customer product availability while controlling textile spend and ensuring maximum value from the investment.
  • Provide insight and work with stakeholders to ensure customers are on appropriate service types and replenishment settings, manage demand to production and flex demand with seasons.
  • Act as a “Centre of Knowledge” for the best setup of customers and textiles within the Elis systems and within plants.
  • Work with operational teams to ensure maximum utilisation of linen through best practice.
  • Proactively monitor demand, highlight difficult‑to‑fulfil customer demands, analyze reasons and agree action plans.
  • Liaise with Account Management and Customer Services to address customer demands and drive best practice.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to ensure rewash and rag‑out processes on site are compliant with standards, minimizing unnecessary linen investment.
  • Monitor the financial impact of the linen pool (budgets).
  • Forecast demand, taking into account seasonal demand and local events, and ensure service maintenance.
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting in line with business needs.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work cross‑functionally with all levels and roles within the laundry.
  • Good attention to detail, strong analytical skills, ability to summarize data appropriately for others.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to organize self and others to ensure tasks are carried out in a timely manner.
  • IT literate (MS Office, ERP systems).
  • Flexible and able to react quickly to the needs of the customer and the business.
  • Degree or equivalent education; experience working in a highly customer‑focused service environment.
  • Experience with continuous improvement programmes.
