About Accidental Theatre

Accidental is an artist-led organisation and creative hub in Belfast. We support independent artists and communities to develop bold, experimental work across theatre, comedy, music, film and digital arts. Our mission is to create inclusive space for collaboration, risk-taking, and cultural expression through live and digital programming.

After securing our building in 2025, the iconic Neo-Georgian building of 12-13 Shaftesbury Square, we’re now entering a new era and looking to support more people in the community and expand our current projects.

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced, highly-motivated, responsible, dynamic, conscientious, relationship-oriented and resourceful individual to join us at this exciting juncture as our Project Officer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project delivery with a portfolio of projects that they’ve successfully delivered from early stages through to completion. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of specific projects within the organisation, supporting the team and reporting to the Senior Management team.

This includes managing daily stand-ups, using platforms such as Monday, Discord, Canva, Google Docs to track and plan tasks with project team. They will communicate about the projects to stakeholders, engage with clients, and keep the Director informed of progress on a weekly basis. The successful candidate must be comfortable with taking responsibility for the projects, and will also be expected to develop and maintain relationships with external partners.
