The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) is an independent charity dedicated to breaking the link between family income and educational achievement.
We do this by supporting schools, colleges, and nurseries to improve teaching and learning through better use of evidence. We generate research evidence on effective practice in supporting learning outcomes and narrowing the socioeconomic attainment gap, and we work with education professionals to ensure this evidence is applied to achieve the maximum possible benefit for children and young people.
The EEF’s reach and impact have been tremendous: the English education system is now one of the most evidence-informed in the world. Over half of state primary and secondary schools have taken part in an EEF-funded trial, and 70% of all school leaders use the Teaching and Learning Toolkit to inform their decision-making.
We are now looking for a Regional Projects Officer to join us on a full‑time, fixed‑term contract until August 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual with experience of delivering projects and complex initiatives and an understanding of the education sector to join our highly influential organisation.
You’ll have the chance to make a real difference to both learners and teaching staff, whilst developing your skills and experience and gaining further expertise within the education sector.
What’s more, you’ll discover a superb range of benefits designed to support you both in and outside of the workplace, focusing on your wellbeing, support and growth.
As a Regional Projects Officer, you will support the delivery of our Research Schools Network and Evidence Partnership for 16‑19.
Working across these networks, you will help turn research into practice, bringing schools and colleges together to improve outcomes for disadvantaged learners.
You will work closely with Regional Leads and Programme Managers to co‑ordinate activity, ensuring effective support is in place and that programmes run smoothly. Overseeing planning and monitoring for projects, you will support governance processes, co‑ordinate events and training, and gather feedback and data to inform delivery.
Additionally, you will:
