Overview
We are looking for an experienced Landscape Planner to join our Environment team in Bristol or Cirencester. This opportunity is open for candidates at either Senior or Principal grade. The role supports the delivery of exceptional service that fosters sustainable and successful development for our expanding client base.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Landscape Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs) and Townscape Visual Impact Assessments (TVIAs).
- Support related workstreams such as strategic planning and mitigation.
- Engage in appeal work for sites in sensitive landscapes and collaborate with leading legal counsel.
- Perform bespoke landscape and visual analysis with a keen eye for detail.
- Collaborate with clients, teams, and community members to enhance environments.
Qualifications
- A degree or postgraduate diploma in Landscape Architecture.
- Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute.
- Proven experience in LVIA, feasibility studies, landscape planning and design, supporting landscape statements and mitigation strategies.
- A track record in the energy sector.
- Strong technical report writing skills.
- Successful project management and effective organisational and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Proactive, strategic and analytical approach to support the client’s requirements.
