Project Manager – Birmingham, AL or Greenville, SC
Responsibilities
- Managing projects for industrial clients across power, pulp & paper, and chemical process sectors, including planning and feasibility studies.
- Leading major technical, cost, scheduling, and performance decisions and overseeing field construction during project implementation.
- Managing direct‑hire construction and subcontracting and maintaining positive client relationships as the company’s contact.
- Promoting quality services and maintaining positive client relations.
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail‑oriented
- Strong working knowledge of MS office programs and scheduling software a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A proven track record of organizing project team to accomplish project goals
- Effective negotiation and contract management skills to represent the company with the Owner
- Well‑rounded base of knowledge in construction disciplines
- 10+ years previous industrial construction management experience managing multi‑discipline teams (engineering and construction) is required
- B.S. Degree a plus – Construction Management or Engineering (experience will be considered)
