Project Engineer in Birmingham

Project Manager – Birmingham, AL or Greenville, SC

Responsibilities

• Managing projects for industrial clients across power, pulp & paper, and chemical process sectors, including planning and feasibility studies.
• Leading major technical, cost, scheduling, and performance decisions and overseeing field construction during project implementation.
• Managing direct‑hire construction and subcontracting and maintaining positive client relationships as the company’s contact.
• Promoting quality services and maintaining positive client relations.

Requirements

• Strong leadership skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail‑oriented
• Strong working knowledge of MS office programs and scheduling software a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A proven track record of organizing project team to accomplish project goals
• Effective negotiation and contract management skills to represent the company with the Owner
• Well‑rounded base of knowledge in construction disciplines
• 10+ years previous industrial construction management experience managing multi‑discipline teams (engineering and construction) is required
• B.S. Degree a plus – Construction Management or Engineering (experience will be considered)
