Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver monthly financial analysis comparing actual performance to budget and forecast, identifying key variances and underlying drivers
  • Produce clear, insight‑driven commentary to explain performance, highlight risks, and support decision‑making
  • Support the preparation and ongoing development of management reporting outputs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strong governance
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to gather inputs, challenge assumptions, and ensure timely delivery of financial information
  • Assist in maintaining and updating forecasting models for operating costs, including tracking key drivers and assumptions
  • Contribute to the documentation of forecast changes, risks, and open items to improve visibility and planning accuracy
  • Coordinate data collection processes across teams, validating inputs and ensuring completeness and reliability of information
  • Support cost allocation processes through accurate data preparation and reconciliation
  • Identify opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency, including automating manual processes and improving data quality
  • Help develop tools and processes that flag anomalies, streamline reconciliations, and improve overall financial insight

Ideal Candidate

  • 2–3 years’ experience in FP&A / Commercial Finance
  • Strong Excel skills (including complex formulas and data manipulation)
  • Solid understanding of forecasting, variance analysis, and cost concepts
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple inputs and work effectively with stakeholders
  • Experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI or Tableau)
  • Exposure to SQL, Python, or a demonstrated interest in developing technical skills
  • Interest in automation and improving finance processes
