An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and compassionate Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic inpatient mental health team at Woodview Hospital.
Our inpatient service provides high-quality, recovery-focused care to adults experiencing acute mental health difficulties. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based interventions in a safe, therapeutic environment.
We are looking for enthusiastic nurses who are committed to delivering person-centred care and promoting recovery, dignity, and respect for all service users.
You Will
- Be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration
- Demonstrate a passion for inpatient mental health care
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgement and risk management skills
- Be committed to continuous professional development
- Newly qualified nurses are welcome to apply and will be supported through a structured preceptorship programme.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, safe, and effective nursing care to patients within the inpatient setting
- Undertake comprehensive mental health assessments and risk assessments
- Develop, implement, and evaluate person-centred care plans
- Administer medication in accordance with NMC and Trust policies
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team
- Promote recovery-focused and trauma-informed practice
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in ward-based therapeutic activities and interventions
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and supportive ward environment
