Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Communications Manager to lead UK & Ireland regional planning, strategy, and execution across PR and influencer marketing. You’ll drive integrated campaigns, translate global direction into locally relevant storytelling, and own the regional editorial calendar, ensuring strong brand equity growth and consistent, high-impact communications. You’ll be a collaborative and detail-oriented leader, managing workflows, budgets, and performance, while mentoring a high-performing team and shaping insights that continuously optimise results.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Communications/PR (UKI experience essential; beauty industry a strong plus)
- 2+ years of people management experience with proven leadership and team development skills
- Strong expertise in regional campaign planning, editorial strategy, and translating global frameworks into local execution
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills in fast-paced environments
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse performance, manage KPIs, and drive continuous optimisation
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of UKI regional communications campaigns, driving brand equity growth and aligning with global vision.
- Translate global strategies into UKI storytelling frameworks, messaging, and local activations, while managing the regional editorial calendar and identifying key cultural and seasonal opportunities.
- Drive media engagement and story buy-in across beauty and relevant categories, partnering with stakeholders to amplify PR impact and brand awareness.
- Act as the key regional connector across global, regional, and local teams, ensuring alignment, consistency, and timely delivery of communications.
- Oversee the creation and localisation of toolkits and assets, ensuring quality, compliance, and that all activities ladder up to the overall PR & Communications strategy.
- Establish and manage governance processes, including workflows, approvals, timelines, and centralised repositories for toolkits and assets across the region.
- Own regional KPIs, reporting, and performance analysis, consolidating insights and recommending optimisations to continuously improve impact.
- Support crisis communication protocols and ensure readiness in partnership with leadership and Legal, while sharing learnings and best practices across teams.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the UKI communications team, including managing direct reports and fostering high performance and growth.
- Partner closely with regional commercial and brand teams, as well as global leadership, to align priorities, protect brand integrity, and deliver impactful communications strategies.
