Arden White Aerospace & Aviation Recruitment is working with a leading rotary aviation organisation to support the hire of Contractor Licensed Aircraft Engineers for ongoing operations across the UK and overseas.
These positions are offered on an initial 3‑month contract basis, with strong potential for extension depending on operational demand. This is a great opportunity for experienced contractors looking for Outside IR35 work with a well‑established, highly regarded operation.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out and certifying aircraft maintenance activities in line with regulatory and company requirements. Working closely with the Chief Engineer and operational teams, you will support short‑term operational needs across locations, including Aberdeen and the Falklands.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities
- Carry out inspections, modifications and defect rectification
- Ensure continued airworthiness in line with CAA regulations and approved procedures
- Issue certification within licence scope
- Report any safety, compliance or quality concerns identified during maintenance activities
Requirements
- CAA B1.3 or B2 licence
- Proven and recent experience on AW189 and/or S92 aircraft
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high safety and compliance standards
- Strong understanding of regulatory and airworthiness requirements
- Right to live and work in the UK
- Initial 3‑month contract with strong likelihood of extension
- Contractors must operate via their own Limited Company
