We are hiring consultants with relevant professional experience in either a consulting role or in industry who are natural problem‑solvers and constantly curious.
Our consultants are expected to be hands‑on, working together with our clients to bring energy, direction and expertise to help them solve their most pressing strategic challenges. We pride ourselves in partnering alongside clients – the best way to deliver real and long‑lasting value. This often means travelling to client locations to work on‑site.

What we’re looking for:
Candidates need to demonstrate experience in one (or more) of our capability specialisms:
Economics:
- Familiarity with econometric principles.
- Economic appraisals, impact assessments, policy development or economic regulation.
- Familiarity with the HM Treasury Green Book and business case approach.
- Development of large (>£100m) business cases in the public sector.
- Development of decision‑support models (operational, economic or financial).
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in common modelling tools (e.g. Excel).
- Organising ambiguous requirements to structure model frameworks.
Core skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to simplify and present technical complexity in an accessible way.
- The ability to balance strategic, big picture problem solving with detailed analysis.
- The ability to apply sound logic, backed up with appropriate analysis, to support decision-making and recommendations.
- Proactive, collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver tangible outcomes.

Please be aware that some of our UK roles at PA Consulting require a UK security clearance.
All PA people are required to undergo background checks and to achieve the Baseline Personnel Security Standard however, some UK roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting, where applicants must have at least 5 years of continuous residency in the UK.
