About the Role
Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established and growing construction business to recruit an Electrical Project Coordinator.
Based in Peterborough, this is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded company delivering electrical solutions across major projects, including data centres, universities, and healthcare facilities.
You will play a key role in coordinating both temporary and permanent electrical works across multiple sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend project start-up meetings and review all project specifications
- Coordinate labour and resources across multiple live sites
- Produce and submit regular progress reports
- Monitor project budgets and oversee purchasing activities
- Track overall project progress and performance
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Ensure materials are ordered and delivered in line with programme requirements
- Attend site meetings where required
- Assist with the preparation and submission of quotations for new works
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator or Project Manager role
- Strong background within the electrical sector
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Experience supervising and coordinating site teams
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Resilient and able to manage changing project demands
Desirable
- Knowledge of plumbing, particularly in relation to temporary works
