Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee delivery across multiple water industry projects and workstreams. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while meeting programme deadlines and budget targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations across concurrent projects/workstreams
• Lead field teams and subcontractors to deliver work safely and efficiently
• Plan resources, schedules, and activities to meet delivery targets
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Monitor performance, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement
• Engage with clients, stakeholders, and customers, providing regular updates

Requirements

• Experience in operations or project management within water, utilities, or infrastructure
• Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Construction, Utilities, or Operations Management (desirable, not essential)
• Health & Safety certification (e.g., IOSH or NEBOSH)
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Good understanding of health & safety and regulatory requirements
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines
