Job Title: Mobile & Outreach Driver Library Customer Advisor
Salary: £12,791.50 – £12,994.20 per annum
Hours: 18.5 hours per week (based on 2.5 days per week, with occasional Saturdays)

Overview
Worcestershire Libraries are recruiting for an exciting new opportunity. The role of the Outreach and Mobile Driver & Library Customer Advisor is diverse and dynamic, delivering services across the county using our new electric Mobile & Outreach Library Hub vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Drive the Mobile Library Hub, visiting community events, schools and other locations to provide outreach services.
- Support the regular Mobile Library Service, ensuring smooth operation and timely delivery of resources.
- Engage with residents, raising awareness of library services, joining new members, and running activities such as storytelling sessions for children.
- Deliver excellent customer service, responding to enquiries and assisting users in accessing a wide range of resources and services.
- Complete required training for the role and vehicle use.
Qualifications & Attributes
- Enthusiastic, energetic, with excellent customer service skills.
- Background in retail, community, education, early years, or library work is desirable but not essential; understanding of customer needs is crucial.
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional Saturdays for special events.
