Position Title: Support Worker Location: Buckinghamshire, SL8 Hourly Rate: Weekday rate £15.26, weekend rate £19.84 Hours Per Week: bank hours- as and when required to cover sickness and annual leave Vacancy Type: Bank I am a young man in my 30s living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I require support with my daily living needs to enable me to live as independently and comfortably as possible. Supporting with personal care Helping with mobility and transfers Supporting with meals and hydration Supporting me with my ventilation needs Working alongside and following guidance from my existing care team I am looking for a reliable and compassionate bank support worker to provide occasional cover for sickness and annual leave within my established care team. This role is offered on a flexible, as-needed basis as you will be working as part of a small friendly team. Someone who is flexible and able to work at short notice where possible Ability to follow established care routines Previous care experience is helpful but not essential as training can be provided In return for your dedication, youll receive a competitive rate of pay in addition to:~5.6 weeks holiday per year (pro-rata for part-time positions).~ Company pension scheme after 3 months service, subject to the scheme rules.~ Opportunity to join our Cash Back Health Plan, after successful completion of the probation period.~ Free training and development for all roles.~ Access to wellbeing and support tools.~ All roles will be subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and are exempt from the provision of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
