Education sector experience is essential The Head of Human Resources will lead the development and delivery of a high-quality, strategic HR service across the organisation. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, driving initiatives across employee engagement, organisational development, workforce planning, and operational HR excellence. Lead on workforce planning to ensure the organisation has the capability and capacity to meet future needs Operational HR Delivery
Oversee the delivery of a comprehensive HR service, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and payroll/HR systems (if applicable) Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant, up to date, and effectively implemented Lead on complex employee relations cases and provide expert guidance to managers Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture Lead on learning and development strategies, including leadership development and succession planning Support organisational change programmes, including restructures and transformation initiatives Leadership & Team Management
Lead, develop, and mentor the HR team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement Foster a collaborative and customer-focused HR function Governance & Compliance
