CNC / Machine Operators (Permanent)

Forde Recruitment, the leading provider of engineering staff within South Yorkshire, are currently seeking an experienced, ideally CNC Machinist. Visual inspection of components. Recording of results on Microsoft Excel. Rejection of batches if they dont meet quality expectations. Load programs into CNC machine and execute program to accurately machine parts to meet customer specifications. Verify conformance of machined work piece to specifications, using precision measuring instruments. Complete essential documentation such as route cards & Inspection sheets as required. Use hand truck, pallet jack, carts to safely transport product. Support Lean Manufacturing and EHS initiatives. Demonstrate understanding and adherence to the internal planning system (GYRO). Drive a quality, right first time approach. A high level of attention to detail, problem-solving skills, computer literacy and good written and verbal communication skills are essential. Proven experience operating both CNC and manual equipment. Inspection experience within manufacturing would be an advantage.
