Job Title: Junior People Partner / HR Officer

Temp initially – potential for role to become permanent

Sandwell – Largely on site, some hybrid working available

£28,000-£30,000 doe + bens

Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Junior People Partner / HR Officer to support the HR team in a brand-new role, which sits across a broad range of administrative and operational activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about developing a career in Human Resources to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide a range of administrative support to the People Partners in the delivery of their employee relations work.
  2. Assist casework, including taking accurate and confidential notes
  3. Support the coordination and administration of a wide range of people related activities
  4. Assist with payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timely data input
  5. Maintain and update HR systems and employee records
  6. Prepare HR related documentation such as letters, reports and other correspondence
  7. Support onboarding processes
  8. Ensure HR data is handled in line with College policies and data protection requirements
  9. Act as a first point of contact for HR queries

Skills & Experience

  1. Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
  2. Experience using HR systems or similar databases
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  4. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  5. Good administrative and time management skills
  6. A proactive and flexible approach to work
  7. Previous HR administration experience (desirable but not essential)

Qualifications

  1. CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) desirable
  2. A degree level qualification
