Junior Buyer

Salary: £30k+ DOE
We are working with a leading business in their industry who are seeking a Junior Buyer to join their expanding and growing team. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with previous experience in Procurement & Supply Chain to Develop their skills and progress their career.
Role:
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing construction materials, plant, and equipment in line with project requirements
- Raise and process purchase orders accurately using internal procurement systems
- Support senior buyers and procurement managers with day-to-day purchasing activities
- Prepare reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance metrics
- Work to ensure all supplier invoices are cleared for payment in a timely manner to maintain the high-level of positive supplier relations expected by the company

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a procurement or supply chain role
- Previous experience in the construction industry
- Ability to work under pressure
