Sales Administrator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Administrator to join an organisation based in Craigavon.
This is a Full-Time, fixed term contract for 6-9 months.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm
With a salary of £27,500 per annum.
Job Role:
You will be assisting the Senior Sales Administrator in sales order, processing, despatch/logistics, delivery reporting and maintenance of customer records.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous Sales Administration experience.
- GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- IT proficient with the use of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload while adhering to deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as your own initiative.
- Flexibility towards working hours.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process orders, arrange despatch and invoicing for designated accounts and online sales.
- Process daily Van Sales deliveries and facilitate stock replenishment as required.
- Liaise with Warehouse Team to ensure Sales Orders are despatched in full and on time.
- Maintain excellent levels of Customer Service, ensuring regular communication with regards to updating systems and order fulfilment.
- Liaise with Procurement department on goods in and arrangement of haulage as required.
- Liaise with haulage Companies to arrange goods out. Negotiate cost effective haulage rates while ensuring reliability with objective of all goods being delivered in full and on time.
- Implement specific booking in procedures for key accounts.
- Produce month end sales reports and Aged Debt Analysis in line with timetable.
- Ensure effective Credit Control processes are in place to allow for timely collection of all customer payments.
- Follow up and respond to customer queries on a timely basis. Where necessary and with Director approval, produce credit notes and receipt of outstanding payments for month end.
- Maintain customer records including scanning and indexing of sales order and delivery notes for audit purposes.
- Liaise with the Sales team to ensure high levels of customer service at all times.
- Provide Reception cover, answering / directing telephone queries and taking telephone orders.
- Any other duties as required.
