Management Accountant

SM Innovations / Ziggicig are growing businesses looking for a hands-on Company / Management Accountant to join our management team and take responsibility for our core finance function. This is a varied role covering management accounts, reporting, bookkeeping oversight, cash flow, budgeting, compliance, and process improvement. You will work closely with the Operations Director, Managing Director, and wider management team, providing accurate financial information and practical commercial insight. We are looking for someone comfortable working in an SME environment, who enjoys taking ownership, and is happy to be both strategic and hands-on when needed. The role offers autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to help shape the finance function as the business continues to grow. Youll be responsible for: Preparing monthly management accounts and reports. Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Overseeing ledgers, reconciliations, AP, AR, payroll support, and expenses. Improving financial controls, systems, and processes. Providing insight to support pricing, margins, investment decisions, and growth plans. Liaising with external accountants, banks, HMRC, and business partners. Were looking for someone with: Accounting experience in an SME or hands-on finance role. Experience in producing management accounts. Strong Excel and accounting software skills. Good commercial awareness. Clear communication skills. A proactive, reliable, and detail-focused approach. This would suit a qualified, part-qualified, or qualified-by-experience accountant who wants to make a real impact in a growing company.
