We are partnering with a global organisation looking for a senior procurement leader to take ownership of international procurement activity and help evolve the function into a more commercially driven, business-facing capability.
This is a high-impact leadership role operating across multiple regions, working closely with senior stakeholders to improve consistency, drive value, and enhance commercial outcomes within a complex, matrixed environment.
The Role
- Lead international procurement activity across multiple regions
- Partner with senior business stakeholders to shape demand and sourcing strategy
- Lead complex supplier negotiations and manage key commercial relationships
- Improve consistency, governance, and structure across procurement activity
- Identify opportunities for cost efficiency, supplier optimisation, and risk reduction
- Develop and refine sourcing strategies across key categories of spend
- Work closely with global leadership to ensure alignment with broader procurement direction
- Oversee key initiatives and ensure clear visibility of progress and outcomes
- Lead and develop a small, geographically distributed team
- Drive improvements in procurement tools, processes, and overall maturity
Core Requirements
- Extensive experience in senior procurement / sourcing roles within international organisations
- Strong track record in commercial negotiation and supplier management
- Experience operating across multiple regions and stakeholder groups
- Proven ability to work in complex, matrixed environments
- Strong commercial judgement with a pragmatic, outcome-focused mindset
- Experience improving procurement operating models or ways of working
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability at senior level
- Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on delivery
- Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
