Overview

Humanities Teacher + Head of Humanities sought for a supportive secondary school in the Borough of Haringey. The role is for a September start, full-time and permanent.

Responsibilities

• Teach Humanities (History, RE & Geography) across KS3, KS4 and KS5
• Inspire and motivate students
• Collaborate with a team of Humanities teachers
• TLR opportunities: Head of Humanities
• ECTs welcome:1:1 mentor, bespoke ECT induction, in- and out-of-house training and more
• September 2026 start – Full Time & Permanent
• Salary: MPS1-UPS3 (£40,317 – £62,496) + TLR (depending on experience)
• Location: Borough of Haringey

Person specification – Humanities Teacher / Humanities ECT

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
• Strong academic record (Degree, A Levels and GCSEs)
• Ability to meet the 8 Teaching Standards to a Good or Outstanding level
• Ability to work as part of a larger team of Humanities teachers
• Willingness to listen to feedback
