Debt Recovery Solicitor (3+ PQE)

Location: Newcastle

Firm: Market-Leading Debt Recovery Practice | High-Growth Environment

Salary: Lucrative Salary + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

The Role & The Work

This is an opportunity to step into a forward-thinking, Tier 1‑ranked, Debt Recovery environment where legal expertise, technology and commercial strategy converge to redefine how debt and asset recovery is delivered. You will join a high-performing team at the forefront of financial services litigation, acting for some of the most innovative and recognisable organisations in the sector. The work is fast‑paced, high‑volume and intellectually engaging, requiring not just technical ability, but strategic thinking and commercial instinct. From the outset, you will manage a complex caseload of unsecured debt recovery matters from instruction through to resolution, navigating litigation, negotiation and enforcement with precision and efficiency. But beyond the day‑to‑day, you will play a key role in shaping how the team operates, driving smarter processes, influencing strategy and contributing to the evolution of a growing business line. This is a team that embraces modern legal delivery, leveraging systems, data and collaboration to achieve better outcomes for clients. You will be encouraged to think differently, challenge traditional approaches and contribute to a culture that values innovation as much as execution. As a key member of the team, you will also support and mentor junior lawyers, helping to develop the next generation of talent while strengthening the team’s long-term capability. For those looking to move beyond a purely transactional role, this is a chance to step into something more strategic, visible and future‑facing, within a firm that is investing heavily in its people, its platform and its growth.
