About the role:
- landlord and tenant law
- statutory duty of care
- homelessness/disrepair
- the acquisition and disposal of property and the development of housing policy and process
- advice in respect to specific letters, disputes or other matters
- detailed advice on complex cases
- advice on leaseholder agreements, consultation and sale covenants
About you:
- A thorough knowledge of Housing Law and Court procedure
- A Solicitor or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives
What you will do:
- Provide legal advice and assistance to the housing service
- Experience of providing guidance and support to colleagues
- Demonstrates a responsive and effective customer focused approach
- An excellent track record of building internal and external relationships which deliver
- A thorough knowledge of Housing Law
