This role leads Cornwalls Best Start in Life agenda, providing strategic leadership across:
You will work closely with the ICS, education, early years services, safeguarding partners, and communities to embed prevention, improve outcomes and ensure high-quality, equitable services for children and families.
Post 2: Consultant in Public Health Wider Determinants, Housing, Planning & Healthy Weight
This role leads on the wider determinants of health, working across the Council and IC to influence major system levers including:
You will be a senior advocate for health in all policies and a key leader in shaping a carbon neutral, equitable Cornwall.
Both roles are open to medical and non-medical public health specialists, in line with FPH guidance.
