About The Role

Project Delivery Manager | Business Development

We are looking for a Project Delivery Manager to join our Business Development team on an 18‑month fixed term contract, to lead delivery of a strategic Client Discovery programme. Client Discovery is a cross‑business initiative designed to build a clear, data‑led understanding of Knight Frank’s client base, capabilities, areas of expertise and levels of integration. The programme brings together client data cleansing and analysis across Commercial business units to generate reliable, actionable insight that informs strategy, growth and improved integration. The Project Delivery Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating and governing delivery of this programme, ensuring workstreams are prioritised, sequenced and delivered to meet senior stakeholder requirements.

The Business Development Team sits within the Commercial Division and operates across a range of disciplines, including new business/lead generation, client profiling and targeting, pitching, client relationship management and new business referrals.

The role will involve engaging the wider business to identify proactive opportunities to win work based on high‑quality data and insight. The Project Delivery Manager will lead project planning, workflow and governance across all phases of delivery, translating strategic questions and analytical requirements into structured workplans, timelines and deliverables. The role will be responsible for data quality oversight, but data analysis duties will be handled by specialist data and analyst roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery Planning – own and maintain the end‑to‑end plan for the Client Discovery programme, including phases, dependencies and transitions.
  • Workstream Delivery – coordinate activity across Client Discovery workstreams, ensuring required inputs are in place and delivery is sequenced correctly.
  • Stakeholder Management – work with Client Development and Commercial team leaders to agree scope, required outputs, delivery timelines and escalation points.
  • Stakeholder Communications – provide clear, structured updates to senior stakeholders on progress, delivery risks and key decisions.
  • Reporting – synthesise data discovery outputs and actions, playing back findings in the most appropriate way and at the right time across various audiences.
  • Alignment to Client Development Methodology – ensure Client Discovery outputs and reporting align to the Business Development Team’s Client Development approach.
  • Client Feedback – coordinate linkage between Client Discovery workstreams and the Client Feedback programme, ensuring relevant insights are incorporated.
  • Return on Investment – collaborate with the Data Team to determine and model measurable ROI arising from Client Discovery outputs.
  • Driving Change – collaborate with Client Development managers to translate outputs into clear actions; effect change in Commercial team business plans, growth priorities and integration.
  • Tracking Outcomes – support tracking of agreed actions and impact measures following delivery of Client Discovery insights.

What Experience You Will Need

  • Proven experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder projects or programmes in a professional services, consulting or commercial environment.
  • Ability to translate high‑level objectives into structured plans and deliverable workstreams.
  • Demonstrated hands‑on delivery implementation.
  • Experience working alongside analytical or technical teams, with an appreciation of dependencies between data, analysis and delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to engage credibly with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, with a disciplined approach to prioritisation, tracking, implementation and evaluation.
  • Experience or understanding of a commercial property environment would be advantageous, but not essential.

Systems & IT

  • Microsoft Office – strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Project management frameworks – familiarity with recognised methodologies such as CMI, APM or PRINCE2 (certification advantageous, not essential).
  • Data visualisation platforms – awareness or working familiarity with tools such as Power BI or Tableau, sufficient to interpret outputs, understand dependencies and support delivery of data‑led workstreams.

Person Specification

  • Highly organised, structured and delivery focused.
  • Calm and confident under pressure, with ability to manage competing demands.
  • Motivated to “roll up sleeves” and get things done.
  • Proactive problem‑solver with strong judgement and attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator, able to engage credibly with senior stakeholders to drive change.
  • Flexible and able to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Ability to develop and implement clear and robust plans.
  • Proactive self‑starter with sound judgment and initiative.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive approach to routine tasks.
